Meet the curator: Marina Piche
Welcome to Piche Atelier. Every piece here is sourced by me, chosen for its story, character, and place in a world of design I continue to explore.
Born in Nice and trained in set and costume design in Australia, I’ve spent my career in Sydney to Los Angeles creating—from stages to interiors, from events to everyday moments of beauty.
Returning to my roots, I immerse myself in the art, culture, and traditions of Europe, finding inspiration in its history and its artisans.
This Atelier is my personal journey—a collection shaped by hand and heart, where I share what moves me and invite you to discover objects and ideas you can trust and make your own.
My language in Design
Design and aesthetics have always been at the center of my life. To me, art and design are never just about how something looks—they capture a moment in time, reflecting the world, the culture, and the people who shaped it. The way something is presented changes how we experience it: how a home feels when it’s curated with care, how we carry ourselves in a beautiful outfit, how objects chosen with intention add meaning to daily life.
It’s more than surface—it’s an artform that tells a story of who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we choose to surround ourselves with. Through art and design, we understand our past, our present, and even where we might be going.
Sourcing Across Europe
One of the greatest joys of Piche Atelier is the search itself—the early mornings at markets, the quiet discoveries in tucked-away shops, and the conversations with artisans who keep traditional craftsmanship alive. Traveling across Europe allows me to uncover pieces that are rare, storied, and full of character—objects that hold the essence of where they were found.
I offer sourcing for those who are looking for something special, whether it’s a statement piece for a home, a thoughtful detail for a project, or a personal treasure that speaks to your story. With my eye for design and history, I seek out objects that balance beauty with authenticity, ensuring each piece carries meaning as well as style.
For me, sourcing isn’t just about finding objects—it’s about finding the right ones, pieces that align with who you are and how you want your world to feel.
