Hi, I'm Marina Piche

Welcome to Piche Atelier. Every piece here is sourced by me, chosen for its story, character, and place in a world of design I continue to explore.

Born in Nice and trained in set and costume design in Australia, I’ve spent my career in Sydney to Los Angeles creating—from stages to interiors, from events to everyday moments of beauty.

Returning to my roots, I immerse myself in the art, culture, and traditions of Europe, finding inspiration in its history and its artisans.

This Atelier is my personal journey—a collection shaped by hand and heart, where I share what moves me and invite you to discover objects and ideas you can trust and make your own.

How I Work

At Piche Atelier, I curate and source unique European pieces for clients who value craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless design.

My work blends vintage discoveries with contemporary creations, collaborating closely with artisans and artists to bring unique, meaningful pieces into your home.

My collaborations typically take one of two forms:
1. Purchasing from my curated inventory
2. Sourcing, Design & Space Curation (Retainer-Based Projects)

My Process

1. Consultation
We start with a video call to discuss your project, style, and priorities so I understand your vision, the mood you want to create, and the story behind your space.

2. Curation & Discovery
I source pieces from my European network — flea markets, ateliers, artists, estate sales, and trusted dealers — carefully selecting vintage, handmade, and bespoke creations that align with your aesthetic.

3. Review & Selection
You receive a curated proposal with photos, videos, pricing, and context for each piece — including its heritage, materials, and why it’s unique.

4. Purchase & Delivery
Once you approve your selections, I manage the entire process: negotiation, authentication when needed, packaging, shipping, and safe delivery to your home or designer.

How the service works

For clients seeking a cohesive space or hard-to-find pieces, I offer fully curated project services. These projects involve research, travel, negotiation, and design expertise, and begin with a retainer to ensure I can dedicate the necessary attention.

Project Retainer:

  • Minimum $2,500 or 20% of the estimated project budget, whichever is higher
  • Non-refundable, but fully offset against commissions on sourced pieces

Commission:

  • 20% of the wholesale price of each sourced item
  • Deducted from your retainer until fully applied
