French Vintage Blue Alsace Glaze Confit Jar

Sourced in Belgium, this antique Alsace confit jar is distinguished by its signature blue glaze, once a hallmark of the Alsace region’s pottery workshops. Originally utilitarian vessels for storing preserved foods, they now read as sculptural accents—equally striking on their own or arranged together as a collected vignette.

Each jar bears its own character, with variations in color, patina, and timeworn surface that speak to years of use. While glazed interiors may hold water, we recommend placing a discreet liner or glass insert when displaying fresh stems. This piece is in perfect condition.
